Lost South Drones

描述
Add a South Hive version of Lost Drones to various zones in the lower half of the map. In some places such as The Hook and Flats Lagoon, they replace their western counterparts entirely. These fellows mostly appear in more hostile areas and are likely to be KO'd before you meet them, so for your best chance, try Flats Lagoon.

Drones are the most common type, but soldiers and even princes can be found at lower rates.

As a bonus(?), some Blackshifters will appear as their Southern variants for continuity reasons. You may also see small numbers of them as Empire Peasants.

@Jermaine a lost hiver/no hiver wouldn't necessarily be auto hostile, even if they are from the southern hive. One reason some these guys are out wandering is because they are exiled for being "defective". A considerably less hostile southern drone would be a good example of "defective" or exile worthy. The normal lost drones sometimes talk about being cast out, and can even have unique dialog with Beep.

Search for "belt goggles" in the workshop. Lots of people have made mods that I think will do it better justice than I would.

This mod is great, but it does unlock the small belt inventory slot for Hive Soldiers that allows them to wear goggles. (Which is not possible in the base game because of their physiology)

Yeah, but I feel like the that mod is kinda busted. Not only the Soldiers get to wear headgear but all the shirts are also unlocked, Princes and Workers being able to wear all helmets would make way more sense than that, (and would be way more lore friendly) there are even Hive recruits that are meant to spawn with helmets they can't use such as Wall Man with Cap. The locks don't make any sense to me. Man, I swear idk how to explain

As far as I can tell, mods such as "Unlock Hiver Slots" have that covered.

Probably, but this was made to be compatible with any other mods that alter the vanilla Lost Drone's dialogue package.

They should be inherently hostile towards people because they are aggressive on home territory. Maybe if you manage to calm them down they will join you in a dialogue tree or something.

This is great! Appreciate that you kept spawn chances low and love the subtle change to the blackshifters too!
