Atka Island

Here's what to expect:

Atka Island is a large map designed to be challenging and problematic for the player. Slowing down the time it takes to get good gear, and adding the feeling of DayZ, but in Unturned. Atka is also designed to support just about every style of play, whether you like to RP or PVP, or like the mix of both, nothing is off limits. The map features 2 large cities, 6 towns, 3 military bases, and 3 hidden bunkers, still with lots of open areas to hide your base and keep it safe. Loot diversity will be different then any other map by adding more loot and more zombies to the bigger cities, and less loot and less zombies to the small locations. Some locations are only accessible by helicopter and others you'll need a gas mask to access them. Dying comes at a cost, not only will you lose your gear but you'll lose skills and a percentage of your experience(currency). So don't get killed. Solo surviving will be difficult as well due to the conditions of Atka, the snowy north will bring a cold and bitter challenge for those who try to access its locations solo, so always bring a buddy!

NPCs and Trading:

NPCs are grindable, things like hunting, fishing and farming are heavily rewarded. These NPCs provide a place for players to sell their loot that they have collected from their travels, and give them the opportunity to buy the essential things they need for the road ahead. Not everything is sellable at the traders however. There are 2 types of traders, a safezone protected traders where players may sell/buy without fear, and a black market trading zone, which is unprotected and runs you the risk of death when you have all your sellables on you! At black market, things are more profitable, trading your risk for reward.
