Evolved from the Tailegs, they have not changed very much in the 50 million years that have passed since they first evolved, apart from having become fully terrestrial. These creatures' strange eyes are more of two eyes combined rather than just a single eye, allowing them to look in multiple directions at once. While the Tailwavers' name might seem confusing due to them having no tail, they actually get their name from the unusual displays on their back.
