While some Kwyex stayed in the desert, others decided to move to a place that is still sandy but much easier to survive in: the beach. What they don't know, though, is that when it comes to seed worlds, any creature that even considers moving near the ocean will evolve traits adapted for aquatic life, and later, become a fully-aquatic creature. No exceptions. Even if the seeded creature in question is unlike anything that has ever existed on Earth, the rule still stands.
