This is a collection of all the Chia series weapons and items but they are all downscaled from 4K UHD (4096x4096) to 1K HD (1024x1024) which results in a 4x drop in quality. Though, it has surprising performance benefits for your VRAM if you do not care to look at the details of your weapon too much.

I am not the creator or original artist of these models, textures or designs. I did however edit the original texture work to resize them.

The main reasoning for me to go this far just to resize some images is VRAM limits. Just like how texture files that are stored on your SSD cost storage space, it is similar for GPU as texture files that get loaded are stored in VRAM so they can be rendered. Left 4 Dead 2 has an old engine with old bugs built on old architecture. Usually in all modern game engines, we are limited by how much VRAM our graphics card has. In this case, we have both RAM and VRAM limits (~3.5GB combined) that aren't based off of our GPU specifications but because of the grandmother this game is.
The Chia Collection has proved that the VPK packer and texture artist know what they are doing very well as I didn't have to correct nearly as much as I thought I would. A handful of mods on the workshop are quick to model/texture without using proper compression, VTF flags, mipmaps, LOD; which without it, can make the mod perform less than optimal.
As much as I'd like to wish that we had the Source 2 engine and that the game's architecture would upgrade to x64 so we would have more RAM, Left 4 Dead 3 is most likely not happening soon. Especially with CS2. Maybe after that?

I am not much of an artist and so I tried my best with Photoshop to keep a sustained image representing the original Chia Series without being a look-a-like (added small little accents to better distinguish if that even helped lol). I have never uploaded anything to the workshop before though, so it took me 30 minutes to learn how uploading stuff works! :@

I edited and published these mods alongside their thumbnails and icons all within a 12-hour timespan after I got home from working and ended up going into the AM (it is more like ~2 PM as of writing this now), so please excuse any bugs or any weird artifacts if there are any and make sure to send me a message or comment on the mod to let me know that the problems exist!

If you got this far, thank you for reading! Here's a little easter egg to ruin your immersion while using this if you ever: Look at the lighting on the Chia items. It looks like some blocky minecraft noise in the lighting on the models, but it's not in the actual textures as far as I could tell. Maybe it is an artifact of downscaling so much?
Do I dare upload a 2K QHD version? If it is requested, I will do it as you can still enjoy half the quality whilst also gaining some performance over 4K, although L4D2 "recommends" that 1024x1024 be the upper limit for textures and they have a point. Just because you can go to 4096x4096 doesn't mean you should!
