Valid, I imagine that they simply didn't code in the behavior because they're lazy and it's just system purely for the player, it's a shame though because there are mods that add medals and make them a decent bit better and it feels weird using them heavily when they give meaningful bonuses to your divs and the ai just doesn't do it at all. great for mp tho

No clue. I tried looking for it but I realized I don't want to invest that much time figuring it out.

It must be a mod incompatibility as I have not encountered the issue you described. Nonetheless I will update the mod anyway just incase I did ♥♥♥♥ up somewhere outside the cost of medals

I don't know how nor why, but when I turn it on all generic medals disappear, leaving Denmark with only their one unique medal. when I turn it off, all medals are back, potentially there's mod conflict I can't find. considering I've tested it without any other mod turned on. potentially I just don't understand modding HOI4. and Yes in the base game Denmark has all generic medals alongside one of their unqiue medals, (depending on whether communist or not).

Are you sure about it? All I've did was copy over a file to change a single line to change the political power cost.
Denmark only has one medal available at a time by being (not) communist.

I've noticed that this mod removes all generic medals from Denmark, potentially other countries with unique medals. considering Denmark only has one medal, it does make this mod rather for that country.
