HMXS Aurochs

Aurochs is a heavy transport, sharing the same hull as the carrier Great Nova. Both were converted variants of an earlier pre-dreadnought monitor. While Nova became a carrier, the hull that would be remade into Aurochs was destined for a more burdensome life. Aurochs can carry a million materials and defend it in transit. It also has modest repair capabilities, though it likely wouldn't have enough canonical lifting capacity to help re-lift downed airships unless the ship's cargo holds were empty due to the significant weight of her guns and cargo combined. Approximately half the cargo area of Aurochs is set aside for fuel and half for cargo, though FtD tragically makes no distinction. Aurochs therefore is a useful mass transport and fleet companion. While her 200k cost is quite a bit for a cargo craft, it hopefully earns that cost due to her firepower and armor.

3x Twin 300mm 36rpm Kinetic, 2x 150mm 78rpm HE Cannons (Starboard), 6x 94mm deck guns, 4x Quad 20mm Simple AA
