Mod/Scenario - None (Vanilla)


The HoverExtractor, one of the "First Run Addendum Hover Vehicles" series, is a T2 CPU, single seat Mining ground vehicle.
It is equipped with a DrillTurret (making this an unlock level 15) for those of us who hate mining with Mechanical Drill Modules.
The HoverExtractor is equipped with: a 5k SU Ore & Wood container; a 250 SU Ammo container; two small cargo boxes; a Mini-Fridge; an O² Station with two O² Tanks; a Wi-Fi; and a detector.
For propulsion, it has five hover engines on by default plus a sixth set to "Max Lift", a hover booster and two RCSs on by default plus a third set to "Max Lift" as well. It also has two large and one small thruster for forward thrust and the same again for braking/reverse, plus three small for left and right. It's power generation consists of a large generator with four large fuel tanks.

Please note - since recording the tour video I have learned that you do not need to quadruple the vehicle's mass when calculating the lift capacity in 4G.
I can confirm that, in 4G with Max Lift ON, it will lift ~30.6 (metric) tons, and with a vehicle mass of 12.0t, the hover engines will lift a further ~18.6t.

- NOTE - any Mini Fridges on board come turned off by default.





Body = Thin Steel.
Deck Plating/Floor = Carbon Composite & Steel.
Armour = None
Turning the 'Power Save' custom signal on turns the following devices off:
Wi-Fi; Holoprojection "Device & Signal Toggles" Info Screens.
The hazard beacons on the HoverExtractor come on automatically when using the "DrillTurret" Custom Shortcut.
