Interwar - Prussian Reichsheer

This pack depicts the Uniforms of the Reichswehr in the Prussian State from roughly 1921-1930. During this period, the uniforms underwent many minor changes, breaking away from the conventions of the Imperial Army.

The Imperial Defense Force (German: Reichswehr) , was the name given to the demilitarized army of Interwar Germany. In its current form, it emerged from the creation of the Peacetime Army, and later the Provisional Reichswehr. The Reichswehr was famously capped in size to 100,000 soldiers, with the addition of 15,000 sailors. Despite these restrictions, the Reichswehr maintained the majority of its manpower through paramilitary organizations. In 1935, the Reichswehr was officially dissolved and reorganized into the Wehrmacht.
