[OUTDATED] Battle Group 700, 'Artemis'

The fifth entry for ARES, this time modded. I take no credit for any modded items, I just made the fleet and put some headcannon lore in there. Have fun.


ARES

Battle Group 700 (BG 700) filled the gap left by the re-deployment of BG 200s and 400s, providing long range fire power for BG 600s. BG 700s saw quick success in the expansion of the ARES industrial network. BG 700s were instrumental in the stabilisation and formation of the ARES state, following growing demands for stability and security from its citizens.

Guarding the borders of the ARES State, and expansion of these borders as deemed necessary by ARES Central Command.

Led by Descartes Heavy Torchship 701, 'Artemis'. Made up of a single section, the 2 Descartes Heavy Gunships (Artemis and Apollo) bring with them powerful long range firepower; in the form of a railgun and 350 mm Arquebus pair. BG 700 is at a disadvantage in any close-in fight, as it is designed with a clear focus on long range support of BG 600s.

Feel free to use the ships within this fleet (and from the ARES faction as a whole). You can stick to the lore but don't have to of course, feel free to modify them and such.

If you upload any modified versions of my fleets to the workshop, strip them of the lore I've added (this can be done by editing the .fleet file). If you still wish to add to the ARES lore message me and I'll see about it. Enjoy.
