General description


This mod focuses on improving the Nakai faction through different means, one of them is to considerably improve the defenders of the great plan, allow them to recruit and behave like a normal faction.


Nakai faction


-The Kroxigor unit is now available from the first level of the Nakai Horde main building.
-The kroxigor unit is now available from the first level of the main building of the minor hordes and its local recruitment is allowed.
-Each level of the main building of the minor hordes provides an additional slot for local recruitment (maximum 4)


Defenders of the great plan


-They can recruit units and behave like other factions (full list of units below)
-The garnishes have been modified and greater diversity has been granted depending on the selected gift (it has 3 different ones)
-More effects have been added to buildings depending on the selected gift
-They generate more resources per settlement to be able to better maintain their own armies.

Their armies will always be commanded by Ancient kroxigors and this is their roster:
kroxigors
carnosaur
razordon
stegadon
feral dread saurian
feral cold ones
salamander
bastiladon
troglodon
coatl


Garnishes and Gifts


The garrison of the main building has been modified, it now consists of 4 Kroxigors and 2 Fera Dread Saurian.

Don itzl
This building provides 20% field movement capacity for armies starting in this region.
Also provides additional garrison 4 sacred kroxigors and skink chief

Don quetzl
This building provides a reduced maintenance for all armies in the region of 15%.
Also provides additional garnish 2 carnosaur, 2 stegadon and saurus scar veteran

Don xholankha
This building provides an increase to local recruiting capacity by +1 in the region.
Also provides additional garrison 2 razordon 2 salamander 2 bastiladon and skink priest beasts


Miscellaneous


For the modification of the defenders of the grand plan I have analyzed many possibilities but in the end I decided to opt for a somewhat unique and peculiar configuration instead of turning it into another lizarmen faction, as you can see it is based on the wildest aspect of this faction and Although it may seem that this gives Nakai too much power, I will ask you 2 questions: In your campaigns, how many times has Nakai been among the top 10 positions in military strength? In your campaigns how many times has the Nakai faction been eliminated?
I have no more questions gentlemen.....

You have a lot of AI mods and I would rather not have too many, which one should suffice to get the lizzards moving? ... they aren´t doing anything in my game.

I checked my last game and all lizardman factions are playing fine, probably my AI mod fixed the problem.

with your mod the only ai lizardman faction that actually does anything is the defenders of the great plan.

@Don Cool You have my entire collection of mods in the links, it also has an auto-resolution one. The goal of my mods is to fix things in the game and not add things that aren't in the original.

I did read in the forums and experienced that f.ex. Kroq Gar doesn´t recruit and just stands idle until they are destroyed, bug introduced with the last patch. Thought this behaviour might have carried over to the Defenders of the great Plan since your mod is supposed to bring them to "life"

I just tested it and it works fine, they do run around but aren´t really much help thus far, seems the AI is cheating on those auto resolves. One of the "Your mod´s" full army attacked a very weakened Lokhir garrison and lost, I couldn´t believe it .... had to double back to finish the job. Not your fault though. And the AI lizzard army was really really good.

But you stated you have an AI mod, I am not usually a "mod person" ... so I will look into that.

Seems the Lizzies are currently broken as some of them don´t act in the game at all, they just sit there until they are wiped out. Does this apply to the DotP with your mod?

@Jeff GoldBlum For all the changes to be applied yes, but I think it won't crash the game if you use it mid-game
