Cryswar's Characters - Legendary Lords FLC

This mod adds 38 new legendary lords with more to come, most of them leading previously minor factions. All have their own unique innates, skill trees, defeat traits, items, and faction effects as appropriate.

My primary goal was to add more playstyles to each race, as well as new start positions where possible. This mod attempts to freshen up the campaign by making minor factions play more of a role, each with their own unique lords - sometimes multiple - and a variety of faction bonuses and penalties.

Most are entirely new (from lore or lore-adjacent), but I also made some vanilla characters into LLs. In particular, Sarthorael (my favorite character in TW!), Surtha Ek, the Red Duke, and (WIP) Boris Todbringer.

Some, like Cothique and the Septic Claw, are incentivized to play very tall, with only a few regions but armies spread across the world. Others are basically just a vanilla faction that buffs a few different units. A few have gotten major reworks, like the Spirits of Shanlin, which are elf-free Wood Elves with a huge roster of beasts and custom buildings, techs, skills, etc. Ideally there will be something for everyone!

Lords and factions are roughly balanced against the 50-90% mark of vanilla alternatives; I tried not to overshine monsters like Tyrion, Archaon, and Kholek, but also not add any duds.

This mod tends to makes the game somewhat more difficult - you run into a LOT more lords and effects you need to pay attention to.

Using the Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords mod makes the game drastically more difficult - you are effectively guaranteed a Norscan End Times and very likely to get Dark Elf and Dwarf super-factions as well.

• Stompy's Artefacts gives all vanilla legendary lords a full set of unique items if they didn't already have them, and buffs some underwhelming ones.
  
• Leaders of Legend rebalances some underwhelming vanilla LL faction/lord effects and revamps/adds unique skill lines, as well as revamping yellow/red/blue lines for vanilla characters. Use this submod for compatibility.
  
• Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords allows you (and optionally, the AI) do... exactly what the title suggests. Great for playing Pokemon. Even better for ensuring natural endgame crises. Disable the AI getting them if you don't want the game to get harder.
  
• Mod Configuration Tool allows you to disable individual lords/factions for compatibility. It's not gonna be perfect compatibility, but will make it at least playable with most other mods that do the same faction.

• Not balanced for SFO/Radious and will never be. Make a submod if you care.
  
• Not balanced for IEE. Probably never will be.
  
• Will likely clash with other mods that change the same factions I do. Usually means one of the conflicting lords just doesn't appear.
  
• This mod does not bypass DLC locks. Factions and units require relevant DLC, ex. Wood Elves to play Cernunnos. The Red Duke (Wood Elves) and Boris Todbringer (Beastmen) are DLC locked too, apparently.
