Need to place the pipes before the path, for the outer edge pipe connection.

Thank you! Only problem is that running parallel pipes using F4 sucks - most of the time you get collision error, and if you make it piece by pice, it creates those bumps that are also visible from your screenshots. I wish the developers would improve this...
