(Almost)Full Release out now! Play it for yourself!

WHY?!?!?!

I made this mod because I could and nobody stopped me! That and nobody tried... And the sunk cost fallacy.

The Champion

The Champion is a slugcat that hales from a distant tribe that valued fierce competition. For some reason though they have departed, I wonder why? Will we EVER find out?! Maybe if you PLAY THE MOD.

Abilities!

Go play the mod and find out! But if you really want to know...
Spear crafting!
Shield wearing!
Wall climbing!
Throwing stuff real hard!
Spear Recipes!
Any Spear + Nothing = Molten Spear!
Molten Spear + Spore Puff = Spore Spear!
Molten Spear + Mushroom = Drugged Spear!
Molten Spear + Rubbish = Scrap Spear!
Scrap Spear + Rubbish = Upgraded Scrap Spear! (repeatable up to 5 times!)
Molten Spear + Dandelion Peach = Dandelion Spear!
Molten Spear + Neuron Fly = Homing Spear!
Molten Spear + Karma Flower = Karmatic Spear! You could also use a Depths Fruit if you have More Flora installed!
Molten Spear + Singularity Bomb = Joke Rifle!
Molten Spear + Fire Egg = Fire Spear!
Molten Spear + Overseer Eye = Electric Spear!
Electric Spear + Flashbang = Recharge!
Molten Spear + Lantern or Slime Mold or Glow Weed = Glow Spear!
Molten Spear + Lilypuck = Puck Spear!
Molten Spear + Beehive = Anchor Spear!
Molten Spear + Anything else = Less than desirable results.
Rock + Data Pearl = Boomerang (Watcher DLC only!)

What is here?

Mods that are know to break this one
  • CowBoySlugCat - Something about this mod causes the plugin for the champion to not be loaded correctly. I have no idea what is causing it! Bummer!
  • Rebind Everything - This mod is coded in such a way that it... makes things not work correctly... I'm not sure how to fix it. Above my pay grade and I don't even get payed!
  • Revivify - The mod will work for other characters but The Champion does not know how to preform CPR and is not above cannibalism and infanticide.

NEW UPDATE!

Fixed game crashing when crafting!
Changed Dud Spear icon to a better color!

basicly, the custom spears turn back to normal spears, and makes it so u cant make that said spear into a custom one, this only happens when you put the custom spear into your invenotry

also, the custom spears stop working when u use the inventory mod, and put the custom spears in ur inventory
