Immersive Barricaded Start [b41 & 42]

Omschrijving
Updated for b42 Unstable
b41 files are still there so it still works with b41.

This mod barricades the house/building you spawn in, and hangs sheets on the windows, just like the autorities told you to do.

It also spawns a few items on the ground (low chance) or on furnitures(high chance). Most of the items spawned are directly taken from the loot tables of the current room. So in a kitchen you will find kitchen items laying around, etc. This means that your starting building has slightly more loot than it would otherwise have, and this extra loot depends on the building you spawn in. If you spawn in a Hardware store, expect lots of extra tools.

The player is also given a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fragile hammer in their inventory, to remove the door barricades if needed. Most of the time there will be at least one door that is not barricaded somewhere.

The player is also given bags of food according to your chosen food loot rarity. On Rare, you'll get three bags of food containing 5+ food items, on Insanely Rare you will get only only one bag containing 3 maybe 4 food items.

If the building is big, not all the building will get barricaded, only your room and the rooms surrounding you.

Ideally this is intended for spawning in a house, but this has also been tested with Pillow's Random Spawns in mind.

Credits to @Shinyshark the author of the original Wait My Ass for the great idea.

I really love it, but like it breaks immersion when it says "day 1" Maybe more neutral like Entry 1 or Prologue 1. Since the offical gameplay and "the day when the world went silent" is only when the player decides is in the game itself.

How can I disable the journal entries?

The original "wait my ass" mod isnt working as well now a days, and this one feels a bit OP. Champy, can you make a plugin called 'prepper' or something that adds the extra items you give to the default version, and make the default version just the barricades?

I am not sure why, but sometimes the mod works and sometimes, I start in a basically normal house. Cannot really say, what thats the case. Worked everytime in b41, yet b42 seems to "bug it out" for some reason.

I Agree @Killer Tamashi. That option would be nice.

An option to disable loot would be nice, spawning with over 600+ units of food just because i have my settings high is uh.. a lot.

@S. Erdem that's not how barricading yourself into a place works. The mod is fine as is.

This one is my favorite mod. If you ever plans to expand it, then maybe add an basement to building you are spawning inside. If it's even possible. :)

most of times all the doors starts barricaded. you should add a code that leaves one door not barricaded.

I love this mod, you did an excellent job. I only have one piece of feedback, and honestly it's not really even your mod. I have noticed that when you run a mod like "barricades hurt zombies", the spawned in barricades don't adhere to the logic. You have to take everything down and re-barricade them for the game to consider the barricades "your own" so to speak.

An option to just spawn with two boxes of nails and a bunch of planks would be super cool. That way we could just barricade the area ourselves as we see fit. Or take the items and barricade a different area.
