Sister, or in tis case, brother ship design to the Artemis escort. Apollo is primarily an early game cargo transport and mining ship. Almost all internal space is taken by a large cargo bay. For anything it can't carry, Apollo is equipped with a ventral docking port.

Apollo was designed to use as many turrets as possible on a small frame. This means 3 turrets on each "rib" (18) and 3 more on top. Additional 4 hardpoints for point defense turrets are placed on the engine section. In it's full readiness, Apollo can equip up to 20 mining, 1 combat and 4 PD turrets.

Default crew quarters are meant to house professional crew, but can be expanded to include regulars. In case extra space is required, you can turn a thruster (marked in yellow) into more crew quarters.

Apollo was designed to use as much processing power as possible, while still leaving room for future upgrades. After unlocking a new socket, you can turn the grey framework cubes into shields, generators or more crew/cargo space.
