描述

Zombie Infection (prefix "zi_") is a hectic new gamemode brought to you using casual-ready VScript!



Huddle up, humans- but not too close, you never know who will turn...


Once setup ends, one sixth of the human team will be immediately converted to ZOMBIES! As a human, you only have one life, so don't let them get too close!


If you do, expect to become infected yourself...


As a zombie, infect all human players to win!


As a human, survive until the clock runs out to claim victory!


But that's not all...


Eat brains in style with these brand new, class-specific abilities! [abilities are WIP and may change!]


SCOUT PASSIVE: Run fast as hell, hit hard as hell, and die hard as hell.

SOLDIER ACTIVE: Launch your undead corpse at any human who dares to vertically challenge you!

PYRO PASSIVE: Immunity to all flames, as well as any liquids, such as water, milk, or ones that shouldn't be named.

DEMOMAN ACTIVE: Barrel your body towards humans at high speeds!

HEAVY PASSIVE: March onward with nothing holding you back. Insta-kill sentries and slam players away or apart!

ENGINEER ACTIVE: Throw a zombie-made EMP bomb, capable of temporarily disabling any buildings in its explosive radius.

MEDIC ACTIVE: Provide sustained radial healing to your fellow undead!

SNIPER ACTIVE: Hock an acidic loogie, providing an area-of-denial that singes humans.

SPY ACTIVE: Belt your rotted, tobacco-ridden lungs and mark any humans in a radius around you!

Use these abilities to vanquish the living, no matter how the environment or weaponry may challenge you!

scream fortress 2025 and it still remains the least enjoyable zombie infection map.

the mines and the roof are the worst part of this map

What players you encounter in casual is not the map's fault.

From my experience this is the least fun map than other Zombie maps, mostly because the roof of the shed in the pond, a lot player just go soldier, pyro, and demo to abuse the shed roof stay there.

A lot AFKs and start insult to other do that when thing get outta hand.

I would be better add another access to the roof by add a hole and plank so both human and zombie can access the shed roof.

TF2 doesn't have a code for ladders in it. Quake Team Fortress from 1998 didn't use to have ladders. So to reference that when making Team Fortress 2 using the Half-Life 2 engine, they decided to strip away any part of the code related making ladders.

In fact, there is code that makes it impossible to program workable ladders in TF2 so that people can't even attempt it. Which is why a lot of devs in the community try to make custom maps with workarounds like adding tiny steps to simulate climbing or even add the property of swimming up on water without drowning on a ladder.

we have shipped a new code update to Valve for the ZI game mode, which will go live with the Scream Fortress 2024 update.

after this update is released, all issues related to crashing or poor performance should be fixed.
