描述

Zombie Infection (prefix "zi_") is a hectic new gamemode brought to you using casual-ready VScript!



Huddle up, humans- but not too close, you never know who will turn...


Once setup ends, one sixth of the human team will be immediately converted to ZOMBIES! As a human, you only have one life, so don't let them get too close!


If you do, expect to become infected yourself...


As a zombie, infect all human players to win!


As a human, survive until the clock runs out to claim victory!


But that's not all...


Eat brains in style with these brand new, class-specific abilities! [abilities are WIP and may change!]


SCOUT PASSIVE: Run fast as hell, hit hard as hell, and die hard as hell.

SOLDIER ACTIVE: Launch your undead corpse at any human who dares to vertically challenge you!

PYRO PASSIVE: Immunity to all flames, as well as any liquids, such as water, milk, or ones that shouldn't be named.

DEMOMAN ACTIVE: Barrel your body towards humans at high speeds!

HEAVY PASSIVE: March onward with nothing holding you back. Insta-kill sentries and slam players away or apart!

ENGINEER ACTIVE: Throw a zombie-made EMP bomb, capable of temporarily disabling any buildings in its explosive radius.

MEDIC ACTIVE: Provide sustained radial healing to your fellow undead!

SNIPER ACTIVE: Hock an acidic loogie, providing an area-of-denial that singes humans.

SPY ACTIVE: Belt your rotted, tobacco-ridden lungs and mark any humans in a radius around you!

Use these abilities to vanquish the living, no matter how the environment or weaponry may challenge you!

I don't know if it has to do with all the zombie nerfs we've gotten, but this map feels like the respawn time is really long for zombies. There's just a ton of downtime waiting for them to spawn, and because it's such a big map it takes even longer for them to walk to wherever the humans are holed up. If the zombies aren't getting any buffs this year, maybe the respawn waves on this map could be shortened when the number of zombies is low

What does "Aar fed the spinning cat" even mean? Is this related to the spinning turbine?

I thought Pyro's passive was Immunity to all flames. I just got cooked by 2 pyros with the Dragon's Fury.

Also, I just played this map on a 100 players server during a Shounic stream and it was hella fun. Sad that the map is so open that it was running at 20 fps for most people lol. It was actually one of the few Zombie maps that was surviving the test very well, as the others reached TF2's entity limit very quickly.

Though the only Zombie map that survived the stress test was Murky and Woods. Which is funny because everyone expect those 2 to be the first to die with how many bushes and props they have.
