So instead of having the depression or cold side effect on and off for a month straight, you only get it that one time you take the stimpack. Then when it goes away it wont come back(Unless of course you take another stimpack or outside reasons such as not taking care of yourself). So it does work, because thats what it says in the description. Its supposed to be that way.
Now if you want to get around this, use debug and turn on god mod after taking the stim, the turn off godmode(At least until "They Knew" gets updated)
