描述
Backstory

After the capture of Stratis and Malden, Altis was next on the list. Altis will be the best staging ground for our liberation of Greece.


Mission - Operation Bell

Lt. Hess and his airborne platoon must capture a small dirt airfield and the surrounding cities. Once we have captured the airfield, we have a foot in the door on Altis.

This is mission one of a campaign I'm trying to make.


Stats

~30-40 minutes
Singleplayer
Medium Difficulty
US vs USSR
Requires CWR3/CWRIII and it's dependencies

Close urban combat (~100m), and medium distance combat (~300-400m).
Note: Sometimes (rarely) the pilots can due some weird things, nothing I can do to change this. If the pilots are dumb just restart the mission.

this gave 'Nam flashbacks with the Hueys touching down simultaneously, loved it

Suggestion: Give the player binos since most engagements were around 200-300m range

Very Fun mission, i'm about to play second one. Only problem i had here was standard Arma 3 problem - Searching for the last guy in first city. Sadly i needed to use Zeus to find him. But besides that it was very fun. Could use some more dialouge or somethin

Hm, I just had to sprint behind AI soldiers watching them killing off anything in the path. My team members even couldn't keep up. Too easy.

@orson Thanks, glad you enjoyed the mission. I have another mission coming in probably a week or so. I'll try that unit capture too.

Yeah, I enjoyed this mission. Please do more like this. I think the best way to get AI heli pilots to do anything is to have them on a pre-recorded path using unit capture. Here's a link to a tutorial on how to do that: https://youtu.be/Yw-xDuBhFro?si=PHiNc2e00vZfQBBK
