This mod is discontinued, i'd suggest my spiritual successor RimDark 40k

It introduces a new Imperium Faction containing guardsmen. space marine, primaris marines, librarians and custodes.
There’s also a hidden Chaos Faction that raids you after 45 days by sending cultists and eventually chaos space marines.

If you're using the Ideology DLC then the Imperium will have culture and memes.
If you're using the Royalty DLC then the Imperium will have an honour system, allowing you to gain rank within the Imperium and become a fully fledged Space Marine.



If you're using the mod: Warhammer 40.000: Imperium Weaponry, then my faction will use their weapons.

If you're using my mod: Warhammer 40.000 - Mutations, then the hidden chaos faction will no longer be hidden and you can potentially become their allies! Time to wage war on the Imperium!

If you're using my mod: Warhammer 40.000 - Psycasts, then the Imperium and Chaos faction should employ psykers using the psycasts included.

This mod isnt gonna receive any more updates. It will be reworked into several mods, the first being the imperium along with their genes which is currently in development.
I don't really look at these comments all too often, so questions wanted answered are better left at the discord.

To balance out gameplay for chaos and all that, I'd recommend using Character Editor to make changes to the armors you use, and perhaps the armor they use so it's a bit more fair to play against 30 Death Guard all with pretty damn strong weapons, but I use Grimworld alongside this, so it could just be a me thing.

Warning! If you disable the vanilla shattered empire and use only the Imperial faction of this mod you will not be able to alocate the permits

Why hasn't the Chaos faction invaded even after 45 days?

Chaos Faction is way to op if you are trying no kill box run or without properly prepared kill box, my colony just got wiped by 25 Tzeentch marines, my Primarch died within few seconds

how do you get the imperium honour system quests
nearly 2 years in and only shattered empire and deserter has appeared

not sure if this is the right mod - sure it's from one of the 40k mods. Cannot start khorne ritual; have a pawn with The Mark of Khorne gene, 20 skulls and a Khorne riutal spot - says pawn may not have the right gene?
