please, read the description

This map consists of 2 parts; a puzzle and an optional exploration section.

The puzzle is located at the center area of the map and incorporates a variety of 'Cubes', Buttons and Material Emancipation Grills aka Fizzlers. The difficulty rating of this puzzle is probably medium (2/5). It depends a bit on what you are used to and although it doesn't use fancy things like Hard Light Bridges, Excursion Funnels or Thermal Discouragement Beams I think it goes a bit beyond easy (unless there is an unintended solution I haven't discovered yet*). The intended solution does not involve stacking or throwing cubes.

note: the outer area (including that pedestal button high up which appears to be unmarked) is not needed/intended to be used to solve the puzzle. You shouldn't be able to get to any of it yet anyway but maybe I overlooked something.

Once you´ve made it through most of the puzzle part and managed to unblock the exit area you have the option to press the moon button. This moon button will open the moon door (location: behind the exit building) which will grant you access to the outer area of the map. (TIP: leave all cubes on the buttons) This outer area is just for exploration purposes and doesn't really have a puzzle, though not all sections are accessible straight away and you have to press some buttons and jump through portals.

bonus challenge:
try to gather up all the 12 Aperture Science lab chairs (+ 1 lab stool)

There are also some other props scattered throughout the map to look out for including:
- 1 radio (the standard portal kind)
- 1 potato GLaDOS (aka PotatOS)
- 1 box of Wheatley'Os (in a special hidden room)
- 1 rubber duck
- 2 crows (can't pick those up but you can scare them away)

* [20240508] I found a different/shorter solution. It's not because of an exploit, so i can't easily patch it. This solution is for the most part still the same as the original intended one, it just skips a couple of steps by doing things slightly different. Too bad because the steps it skips are some that I liked the most. i guess I even overthink my own puzzles.

This map uses a garry's mod style pack for BEEmod created by Drgregs as well as a bunch of UCPs. I also imported some props and created a couple of other custom assets myself with the help of Hammer. I know it's a bit of a cart before the horse approach to make things in Hammer and then use BEEmod to import them into the puzzlemaker but at the moment that works for me. This map is actually a bit of a Hammer testing ground for me to see how certain things function, or more often, not function. It's large and not optimized and there might be some errors, but apart from a bit of stutter at the start I didn't notice any problems with it on my not so modern PC, YMMV. I am considering making a stripped version with just the puzzle part, probably in a portal 2 clean style.

I think I packed everything correctly but if you come across any blue 'ERRORS' or spot anything else that doesn't seem to be correct please let me know.
