描述
With Update 1.0.1.3, Brotato is now on the latest Mod Loader version, so this mod is currently not needed. You can stay subscribed or even still subscribe. I will update this mod if a new Mod Loader version arrives.



Patch the ModLoader to the latest version, which is currently 6.2.0.
This mod currently only supports Windows.

The game will be restarted once to apply the patch.
After the restart, the "Patch" button in the mods menu should disappear.

All older mods will remain compatible with the updated ModLoader.

Why do I need this?
  • Updating the ModLoader will drastically improve your load times if you have a bigger selection of mods.
  • Some mods might require a newer version of ModLoader than what is used by default (6.0.0).

How to Use
  1. Subscribe to the Better Mod List from the Required Items if you haven't already.
  2. Subscribe to this mod.
  3. Start Brotato.
  4. Click the "Mods" button on the main menu.
  5. Click the "Patch Modloader" button.
  6. The patch panel will open.
  7. Follow the instructions in the panel.
  8. Done!

  • Added a full patch UI panel
  • Added instructions panel
  • Added download button for each component
  • Added error/info messages for each step

Let me know if something is not working for you.
If the download still fails for people, I will add an option to select the files from the system.

If anyone is interested, there are two problems with this patch on Linux (for Proton):
1 for configuration files you need to manually create subfolders
2 mods do not load after patch

emmm. I have updated Mod Loader manually. Download files manually and using Pck Tool to add new content to the vanilla pck file.

emmm. Log shows TLS handshake error. Maybe it was caused by local reverse proxy? I am using it.

emmm. The new version still not working. It displayed the download has completed but actually empty files and error accessing options files. You may add a new function to import local files to make the system works.:successchip:
