Palm Club (Final Version)

ATTENTION:

This isn't my map and I have attached the original Build notes from the map. I'm merely adding a map from a fairly extensive library I have assembled over the years. If the original author (Laurent Sol) would like me to remove it, I will.

This is a fun city level, with a lot of detail! This looks like it would be a lot of fun with Dukematch, but I haven't played it with Dukematch. Either way, it's a well made level, something that you can tell the original author put a lot of work into.

In playtesting, I have found a few bugs, but not enough to impact playability. Each mirror has the Hall of Mirrors effect, but it doesn't affect the usability of them. The second thing I found was a wall that liked to show the skybox behind it, depending on how you looked at it. The third and final is on the tennis court, the skybox liked to disappear. Again, none of these effect playability.

Description : First of all, i would like to say that it's my very
first map for any game.
Well, i won't say like some people that my map is the
best map ever, and add the word awesome in every
sentence, but all i can say is that i think most
people will find it quite interesting to play in
Dukematch mode.
Basically, this is a city map, with a bar, a cinema...
Looks like the E1L1 in fact (The best deathmatch map
in my opinion).I added many new ideas: check it by
yourself !!! (Wanna play tennis?)
There are many sniper spots, tons of details, and you
can really elaborate your own tactics. (try to find as
many as you can).
Oh, just one more thing; always remember this:
USE YOUR BRAIN, DUKERS !!! (we don't play CAKE, right?)
I have a theory on that:
"A Duker is 2 times smarter than a CAKE player."
"I AIN'T AFRAID OF NO QUAKE !" says Duke.

Additional credits to : -3D-Realms. Oh Guys, you made the coolest game on
earth. I think i'm in love with ya !!!
And if anyone plays Duke 3d and didn't buy it,
PLEASE, buy it right now, or i'll come to kick
your easy-loader butt !!!
No, seriously, these guys really deserve it...
And i mean it !!!

My soft bed for being so close to the Computer so i
could easily fall on it when i got too tired late at

Single Player : Nope, but if i receive tons of E-mails for it, maybe i
could do something...
DukeMatch Level : Yeah, sure, it was meant for it! 3-6 players is perfect.
Difficulty Settings : None

* Construction *

Base : New level from scratch
Editor(s) used : BUILD
Build Time : About 80 hours. Damn, that's a lotta time !!! I should
have studied instead...
Known Bugs : I think i killed them all, but if anybody finds
any, please send me e-mail.
