The executable shipped with the release of SL1R fixed some long-standing major bugs!

However, the many changes made last-minute may have created unexpected side effects on some systems, leading to worse stability!

With this item, you can try the older executable, and see if the game runs better!

• Crash starting a race while police are chasing.
  
• Crash finishing a race.
  
• Render temporarily freezing, while the game otherwise continues running.
  
• Crash entering the garage.
  
• Likely more!

We've been unable to replicate them on any of our systems, we only know they were never reported before the full release of SL1R.
Please let us know in the comments if use of this item solves ANY issues for you!

• Colliding with freeroaming opponents is likely to cause freezing, objects flickering, and/or falling through the ground - opponent's head disappearing is an early symptom!
  (Colliding with them during races is fine!)
  
• Very extreme deformation may cause freezing.
  
• Opening doors/hoods/trunk/etc moved far away from their original positions using the part mover cheat (or super-extreme deformation) will cause a crash.
  
• Rapid RPM changes with the clutch at least partially engaged will rarely cause engine parts to instantly drop to 0% condition.

Realistically, these issues are very unlikely to happen during a normal playthrough - this older exe is still very usable!


Go Steam Library > SL1R > Play > Launch Workshop Installer, and install the item!
