Originally created by the United States Military to fight the invading Red Menace, this massive patriotism-loving robot now rests in the hands of the Brotherhood of Steel who now utilize it as the most powerful robot in their arsenal. During the events of Fallout 3, it is destroyed by the Enclave during combat, and is later flown to Boston to be rebuilt and combat the rising Institute threat.
