In October 2023 update for CBA, CBA team decided to introduce at least partial compat for cDLCs on their own: JAM magwell compatibility patch (no Joint Rails). However for Western Sahara, they are missing some guns (Galil/Velko and AA-12/AA40), and some of their decisions are weird. For example CBA allows loading of double drums into XMS bullpup, and it's impossible to load single GLX 40mm WS grenades into single-shot launchers like M203.
As it stands right now, in regards to magazines, my CBA-WS compat is a bit at odds with CBA own WS compat. So before doing anything with new cDLC, I'd prefer to see what CBA guys do themselves, especially since I'm pretty sure there ain't CBA magwell classes for Desert Eagle or ASh-12/ShAK yet. But this will probably take months for CBA team to do in their pipeline/work schedule.
So I guess I could just do a Joint Rails compat (accessories only, no JAM magazine compatibility) for the new cDLC. I'm not sure yet.
And additional thanks for being as quick and responsive!
Also I didn't notice as much that their accessories were already compatible, but yes, you are 100% right, they did that by themselves already.
And also yes, BI has so far indeed missed out on integrating a joint rail feature and we are probably never going to see that in the game, but I hope they have an eye out for that in their next title! Can't speak for Reforger since I haven't tried it yet.
