描述
The mercenary group known as Ares Combat Escort Services is an ION Services Inc affiliated partner company that was founded in the mid 430s by Jeremiah 'Ace' Acacius, a former National Guard pilot of the Thirteen Republics. Jeremiah Acacius is said to have formed the group after the dissolution of another company called Ares Falcons. Despite their humble beginnings as a security contractor that only started well after the end of the war in Cascadia, there has still been no shortage in work for these soldiers of fortune.

ACES is also one of the few notable mercenary groups who do not fly with the universal mercenary insignia, perhaps because they are disassociating themselves from older PMCs such as Sicario who had ties to the mercenary cabal.

Compared to other mercenary companies, ACES might not pay the most, but their hiring requirements are easily some of the most forgiving. For that reason, ACES has gained a somewhat (in)famous reputation in the PMC world for being a wild card. Though some might scoff at the varying levels of often dubious quality in these mercenaries, they've somehow been lucky enough to usually come out on top. One might suppose it fits with their theme; a group of gamblers who wager their lives to the devil in hopes of making it rich. yet they just keep winning.

Thanks to funding from both state and non-state benefactors, ACES has slowly accumulated a stockpile of vehicles and weapons from various sources of military supply. They also operate with their own unique callsigns which are instantly recognizable to those within the group, but deliberately confusing to outsiders.
