The Rocinante, often referred to simply as the "Roci," is a modified Martian corvette-class gunship. It serves as the primary mode of transportation and base of operations for the main characters, who form the core crew of the ship.

The Rocinante is known for its remarkable speed, maneuverability, and advanced technology, making it a formidable vessel in the vastness of space. It was originally built for military purposes by the Martian Congressional Republic Navy (MCRN) and was named the Tachi. However, after a series of events in the first season, the crew renames the ship to Rocinante as a tribute to Don Quixote's loyal steed from the classic novel.
