描述
An ancient skeleton awakens. "What happened to the Empire? Where is Emperor Cat-Lon? Tinfist? General Jang? My limbs are gone...All I have left is my sword, my armor, and what remains of my orders and map. My memory is hazy, but I know enough. It is clear the world has changed."

This mod aims to add a lore themed, skeleton alternative to the "Rock Bottom" vanilla game start. You start with relatively high skills and good equipment but are heavily punished with no money, and only your left arm remaining. You will likely have to at least sell your armor in order to try to pay someone to carry you around and labor for you. If you manage to rebuild your body, you obtain a very formiddable early game party member.
Currently the mod allows you to choose to play as any of the vanilla skeleton subraces. If there is enough demand for it, I will release compatability patches for certain modded skeleton subraces in the future. I heavily recommend playing this mod in combination with the Skeleton Empire Rebuilt mod for a more immersive potential long term game goal or campaign. You start off knowing how to make a skeleton repair bed.

I wholeheartedly love this start. Iv'e done rock bottom starts plenty of times and i'm not so masochistic to do bedrock bottom. Doing an Iron man play through with this start and makes me feel like im ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ samurai jack. It makes you look at the game from a different angle, one I haven't looked at yet. Rebuilding your body is the hardest step but its a grand leap into a very fun experience. Hats off mod developer, a robotic limb basked skeleton patch would be very nice.

This start is super interesting and fun but it's really, really easy to break it over your knee if you just head south... You'll find Mongrel, can buy or take some limbs, and then boom. You have pretty spiffy armor and a meitou weapon at the start, and the fogmen will only beat you up and leave you to heal so you get tons of toughness right from the getgo.

I recommend dropping the weapon and the armor (or selling the armor) at the start for the full hobo experience

one of most intresting and immersive starts ive had tried so far. I wish my character had some custom dialogue lines while speaking about cat lon or talking with tinfist

Nvm i fixed it i had a start with no limb mod and it interfered with this mod

are you supposed to start with a arm or not because it says "only you arm left" and im starting with no arms but other then that pretty cool idea and would love to see this with any of the skeleton subrace mods :)

If you did want to, up to you, could you make a UWE specific version for this?

UWE incorporates a lot of new skeleton subraces as well, which wouldn't need multiple different patch versions since they've been merged together. :2017stickycrab:
