Monoko

Monoko from the RPGMaker game Yume Nikki joins Rivals of Aether! A large portion of her moveset is based around gobou's Yume Nikki animations.
She's always being followed by a stoplight. If it's red, she switches from regular ones to air-only strongs that move her around!

-Specials-

Down Special -
Monoko clicks a remote and alternates the stoplight color. This move has a quick cooldown, but the stoplight has a brief hitbox that sends towards Monoko for combos!

While the stoplight is red, Monoko loses her regular strongs for air-only ones that boost her in their relative direction.


Forward Special -
Monoko launches forwards, leaving behind a group of mini Madotsukis if none are already out. The button can be quickly tapped do an alternate version that doesn't travel as far. The mini Madotsukis can do a follow-up attack to anyone hit into them, and have special assists for Monoko's specials and stoplight variant strongs!

For example, landing on them while grabbing someone with Stoplight Up Strong will make it much more powerful, and landing on them with Stoplight Down Strong will boost her to the inputted direction! Be wary, though -- they'll go away after a certain amount of time.


Neutral Special -
Monoko uses a frying pan to toss an egg. If you hold up or down during the startup, you can angle the egg upwards or downwards respectively! Also, if it lands on the mini Madotsukis, they'll make it stronger and bounce higher.


Up Special -
Monoko does the spin attack from Yume Nikki Gensou. However, holding down the special button at the end of the move will have Monoko go into a reversable diagonal dive towards the ground! If you end up offstage during the dive, you can cancel out of it with an airdodge after enough time has passed. You can also land on the mini Madotsukis during the dive or pratfall sections of the move to get tossed to the side for mix-ups!
