The Zvezden Federation is a large collection of smaller communist states, notable for its odd military setup; a large number of penal units known as "linefighters" equipped with basic and often obsolescent equipment, and more elite "specialists" who join the military willingly and receive much better, top of the line equipment and are used for primarily for breakthrough and combat engineering. Needless to say, this pack contains guns for the latter.

This pack contains the VSV562 assault rifle and VSA9 submachine gun. The VSV562 is an assault rifle made to replace the aging stocks of intermediate-caliber semi automatic rifles, featuring advancements such as a detachable magazine and lower caliber higher velocity rounds. It can be found in the hands of Specialists pretty much exclusively until the '90s. The VSA9 is a submachine gun made off the same chassis as the VSV series of rifles, featuring a semi-bullpup configuration and wooden furniture. It's primarily used by special forces units and tankers, but occasionally finds itself in the hands of engineers too.

Pro tips:
The VSV562 is a basic all-around assault rifle, perfect for combat at any range minus the furthest distances.
The VSA9 is far superior to the VSV562 in close quarters, even doing similar if not more damage at a higher fire rate, but not the most useful past those distances.
