Fleet Lore & Info

Faction:
ARES

Notes:
Battle Group 600 (BG 600) was created to support BG 300s in the expansion of the ARES industrial network. After this initial expansion, ARES saw a growing need for internal policing, and front line combat units. To cover these two needs, BG 600 was formed, and BG 200s and 600s retasked accordingly.

Task:
To function as the majority of ARES CQB frontline combat groups.

Details: [/h3Led by Keystone Destroyer 601, 'Athena'. Made up of a single section, This battle group provides 1 Keystone Detection and PD Escort to locate and track contacts in area; the track information is data-linked to the Keystone Heavy Gunships and dispatched as needed. Battle Group 600 was designed with a focus close in peer to peer combat against other heavy ships.
Purchase of Battle Group 600 fleets is currently unavailable, due to ARES-Alliance contractual procurement policy.

Final Notes

Feel free to use the ships within this fleet (and from the ARES faction as a whole). You can stick to the lore but don't have to of course, feel free to modify them and such.

If you upload any modified versions of my fleets to the workshop, strip them of the lore I've added (this can be done by editing the .fleet file). If you still wish to add to the ARES lore message me and I'll see about it. Enjoy.
