Quetz Weightless

Mod ID: 3005348015

NB! You need to find newly spawned Quetzals for this mod to take effect. Already tamed/spawned in Quetzals will keep their old stats and will not be affected by this mod.

The Quetzal Weightless mod makes the Quetzalcoatlus gain no additional weight from carrying players, storages or dinosaurs. It is now possible to build bases and store massive amounts of resources in storage boxes/furnaces/smithies/etc. without the Quetz becoming encumbered.

The Quetz will still gain weight from items put in its inventory. This mod only aims to make the Quetz not gain any weight when building a base on the platform saddle.

The mod uses NPC Remap to modify the Quetzal, so stacking this mod with other mods that also change the Quetzal may result in one of the mods taking priority.



Commands
If you want to summon a tamed Quetzal from the mod, you need to have "_Weightless_" after "BP" and before "C" in the usual command. Here are some examples:

Does not work for Tek Quetzels

I deleted my comment because I didn't want other people to read it and think it was going to happen anytime soon. I am still very new to modding and I have yet to even touch the graphing and function system. If I invest the time to become better at it I will defininetely look into making it an option. (The setting you requested, where you can ignore the weight inventory of the Quetz as well)

The setting I changed when creating the mod should affect both structures and storages. Some of the reasons for your trouble may be:

1. The mod is installed, but not enabled.
2. There is another mod that overrides the changes made in the Weightless mod.
3. You have an already tamed Quetz from before installing the mod. You need to find newly spawned ones after installing the mod.

It should not be the case that the Quetz gains weight from storage boxes, but not from structures. Note that the with this mod, the Quetz will still gain Weight from items put directly in its inventory.

To troubleshoot, I suggest trying to summon a weightless quetz using the "cheat SummonTamed Quetz_Character_BP_Weightless_C" (without the quotation marks) command and test if you still have issues.

My quetz isn't gaining weight with structures, but it still gain when i put ressources in storage boxes. Did I miss a thing, is it normal or is there an issue ?

TY the Quetzal deserves way more love than the Rhynio does. Quetz has been nerfed for years.
