This mod lets you add burning barrels at specific locations that are on fire and never go out or optionally turn on and off with a variety of configurable options, such as the time of day, temperature, player proximity or even your own scripted logic via injected Enforce script.

You can also whitelist player ID's to create barrels that only turn on for your teammates to create interesting deathmatch / capture-the-flag scenarios.

It's probably easier to talk about the things Better Burning Barrels cannot do!


Subscript to the Mod then in the @Better Burning Barrels mod folder you will find a README.md with detailed setup instructions and examples.


The barrels are placed using a JSON file that is read during server boot-up. So they cannot be moved around or added in-game with admin tools or created by players.

This mod was inspired by the barrels at Dr.Jones Trader. I made mine because I wanted Burning Barrels at Dmitri's TraderPlus mod that did not have them but then got very carried away implementing all the proximity, time of day, temperature features.
