Yongding Branch of the High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University is one of the first high-quality high schools in Beijing. It is located on the west extension line of Chang'an Avenue in Mentougou New City, west of Beijing, facing Yongding River to the east and Jiulong Mountain to the west. The school covers an area of 33600 square meters and a building area of 29103 square meters. It is a traditional sports school and a Beijing art characteristic school in Beijing. It is a modern public complete high school with an elegant environment and advanced facilities. In 2014, the school was selected as one of the first batch of high-quality high schools in Beijing and a demonstration school for school cultural construction in Beijing. The school has 36 teaching classes, over 1300 students, over 160 faculty members, 2 high school special level teachers, and more than 40 senior teachers. It has an excellent teaching team with high education, integrity, good teaching, and dedication. Among them, 30% of the teachers are provincial and municipal level backbone teachers introduced by the high school department from all over the country, and up to 50% are teachers with master's degrees or above.
