-add a new orbital trader "Mechanitor's Orbital Trader"
-add mechlink
-add biotech chips

Unfortunately, I decided to test it with the Call the Merchant mod. Apparently, the mod doesn't work correctly when I call the merchant. He doesn't have the same selection as in your screenshot (Mechlink and the last chip that drops from Apocryton). It's a shame...

Is this a trader that shows up from time to time? It's not listed in my comms, or is there a different comms I need to build?

This is good, but any chance we could have some improvement to the supplier stock? Called them down ten times and only once did they have one of those chips. I expected to be able to buy a few off them, not one every year. If balance is an issue, one can just add that price increase.
