GE Dash 8-39B / B39-8 [Template]

The GE B39-8 is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by GE Transportation Systems. It is part of the GE Dash 8 Series of freight locomotives. Following the production of the first three units for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway, GE made many mechanical and electrical improvements that were reflected in a redesigned car body for the remainder of production; these later units are sometimes unofficially referred to as B39-8E. Its operators were the:

- Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe (ATSF)
- British Columbia Railway / BC Rail (BCOL)
- General Electric (demonstrator unit)
- General Electric Leasing (LMX)
- Minnesota Commercial Railway (MNNR)
- Providence & Worcester Railway (PW)

In total, 145 units were produced between January 1984 and July 1988.

So, basically, this was a mod that I found buried somewhere in my files that I thought was good and wanted to make liveries for. However, since the UV it had wasn't livery-friendly, I made a livery-friendly UV for it and decided to post it here after getting permission from Long to post it. Well, folks, here you are, and here you have it: the B39-8.

- Old livery-friendly UV remade. Now all the UV is correctly aligned, and any loose UV parts have been assigned a respective color square - keep in mind that, since this was made using EMDoggo's new template, any liveries made for this on the old template will be incompatible, thus, needing to be remade for them to keep working.

- All the model's loose geometry, and things of the sort, has been cleaned up. So, hopefully, no black stuff on the model.
