Winterhalter P.07-4

From Helioskepp Spacecrafts we introduce our first submarine.
You can now sail the Europan seas with the vessel from the days of Earth's colonization of Europa, a spacecraft converted into a submarine.
Instead of having a fake "shuttle". You can now dock and undock the shuttle and roam the abyss, with a new shape and other improvments it can be perfect for mining expeditions, reactivating beacons and assisting in the battle of swarms due to the 2 Coilguns mounted on it.



When the tier based system for submarines was still a concept, the Winterhalter P.07-1 was classified as an experimental deep diver class submarine made with the combined efforts of the coalition’s and Earth’s greatest engineers. It’s main purpose was to assist in the colonization of the Abyss by clearing the way for cargo and colony subs alike. For the reasons above, Winterhalter P.07-1 is meant to be self-sufficient, as a result it is outfitted with a plethora of guns and has had some drastic changes to certain parts of its layout.
Especially with the addition of the moonpool/MEF (Material Exclusion Field) allowing for the crew to quickly enter or leave the submarine.
Furthermore it also saw the adoption of a new way of quickly transporting materials around the submarine, the so called Pneumatic tube.

However, the most prominent change would have to be the removal of the medical lab from the bottom of the submarine, placing it next to the gunnery compartment and replacing the now empty area with the Summerhalter P.S.05-4. A detachable mini-sub capable of evacuating the crew if need be and outfitted for the horrors of the Abyss.

What was originally a way of evacuating the crew, it has since then been redesigned to be an exploration type mini-sub that packs a punch, ready to face the deep and narrow chasms of the abyss.
Its most notable feature is the so called moonpool or in other words the Material Exclusion Field (MEF), allowing for the people within the mini-sub to have an capability of either evacuating in a pinch or using it as an airlock.
Though, regrettably the technology to replicate the MEF has been lost ever since the Europan colonies lost contact with Earth. And none of the original colonists remain to pass the knowledge down.
