Bare minimum for playing Space Engineers, even on a vanilla-like play-through.
Just my opinion, I personally do not do a play-through without these mods.

Fun Fact (Disclaimer): I do not own any of these mods. I simply made a mod pack for easy loading.

its pretty easy, but if you only do it once in a while like I do, its best to write some instructions for yourself. Cuz its easy to forget.

I basically use the same ones, a couple of differences. I'd suggest 'Sneaky Sounds' it just drops the volume of the tools to tollerable but doesn't change game play.

The big reason i use SEShipwrightTools is for its ability to make armor blocks transparent. it allows you to see if things are broken or not connected internally.

Along with all of these fun mods I also use one called Build Hints another one called SEShipwrightTools.
