描述
This is a small infantry config faction made using SOG Prairie Fire & S&S assets. I really wanted to utilise the excellent Bao Gam camouflage from S&S which closely resembles the unique South Korea (ROK) camouflage. I have tried to base the faction addon on research. In particular i have used several Osprey Miltary books depicting ROK Army & Marine units from the later phases of the Vietnam War. However i have added certain 'fantasy' elements to make use of some of the cool S&S gear!

I have given the South Korean units Chinese voices to allow for better immersion when in firefights.

I used ALIVE's ORBAT creator to make the factions so you cannot override the units' loadouts unlesss you have ALIVE loaded. I don't know how to get around this i'm afraid. You can still add items and change gear once the mission starts through Arsenal/boxes etc. At the moment the only units included are ROK Marines. I may add ROK Army units later.

UPDATE 3/7/23 - Decided to use the SOGPF ROK helmets instead of the S&S old style US Marine ones. Images have been updated to reflect this.
UPDATE 29/10/23 - Now includes ROK Army Capital Mechanised Division units in light (buttpacks & bandoliers) and Full (backpacks) loadouts.

if you are not going to add korean voices, dont put voices at all, let alone chinese. You are a joke

@The_HaRkOv you know what that is a real bummer, not on the modder's part but like the update on the game itself, your telling me you couldn't make Korean VO's with your actual Korean soldiers

Chinese voices to Korean? jesus, it's really really really improper man. it's almost like putting German voices to Polish. I understand why you did it, but I hope you know that Korea and China's relationship is well, not that good. as a ignorant asian ears, German and Polish seems no different either. and specially, American accent of English and Aussie English.

Most Korean men have served in the military. If it's voice acting, I might be able to do it for any Korean. This is because they always want a Korean soldier who appears in the game.

.....as for the voices. I totally get it. To ignorant westerner ears it doesn't sound bad but if you're Korean or Chinese then yes, it's not ideal. Maybe there is a script you can execute to mute the voices.

It does have a ROK faction. I just liked the S&S uniforms better.

Chinese voice into Korean solider? Awful. It's better if the voice doesn't exist.
