RIP SKULLGIRLS

It pains me extremely so to see a game I adored so much for much of my life completely gutted of all integrity by it's currrent owners, Hidden Vairable and Autumn Games have completely butchered one on the most stylish and creative Fighting Games to ever exist.
I long since held this series to the platinumn standard of perfect artstyles, amazing art and designs, and some of the most creative and unique characters brimming with personality I've ever seen.

This is in large part a further step in my venting process to let out all my emotions ranging from despair to fury to gallows humor, as such it is large part both simultaniously a mournful tribute to a series I long since loved and held dear and also an absolute mockery made from pure spite and contempt of the way a fave series was desecrated.

I included a number of SG characters in despair, as well as a brigade of many clowns to boot, and a large variety of music I feel is suiting, ranging from regual Skullgirls music, to depressing heartbreaking music, to disturbing horrors, to clown music, to some of the most arrogant and obnoxious music I knew that sums up the actions of the devs (YIIK music), all in front of the game's now overwhelming negative reviews and arrogant PR statement.

It's a major rollercoaster of tones and emotions I feel about the contraversy and series to demonstrate the hysterical range I've been feeling.
I know it's rather an extreme reaction to obsess this much over this situation, but I adored this series over any other FIghting Game easily and cared so much about it's characters (Espically Bigband, who got treated worse than anyone else by the Devs), and this has been probably the most egregious censorship and PR behaviour I've seen in ages, not that far away from Blizcon tier arrogence and spite. They locked their announcement the moment they posted it knowing people would be furious.

I need a way to release my seething rage and dissapointment about the loss of a fave series for no reason whatsoever, so I am pouring it into a more constructive place in forms of spiteful protest instead of doing anything toxic or bottling it up.
This is how I'm coping.

I've never seen such a collosal heel turn that was absurdly sudden to the point of being overnight before, the current devs had been well recieved up until this point aside from having a greedy Gacha spinoff (That is good outside being pay2win and a bit unfair) and a few things like the Sonicfox situation. But now the community absolutely DESPISES them, they've tarnished Alex Ahad's vison in the most backwards inneffective inconsistent way they could.

They deserve those overwhelming negative reviews, I hope it continues dropping past 19% and that both companies financially struggle honestly, this is not how you treat your IP and fanbase if you want to remain in buisness, ESPICALLY not with a more niche indie series like Skullgirls.

I'm probably still gonna be pissed at times after this, but I find this stuff helps me release the feelings I'm going through and get this ♥♥♥♥ off my chest.

Skullgirl's future may look incredibly grim now, but Alex Ahad's wonderful vision and characters will live on in the hearts of fans and their creation for as long as anyone remembers this once great indie series that had gone toe to toe with some of the largest AAA Fighting Series in the world like Street Fighter and had come out on top for a good while (SF6 is sweeping this now).

Rest In Peace Skullgirls, the Skull Heart may have won but I will never forget the years I spent with your games and world and cast of freakshow misfits.
Long live Alex Ahad's vision, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MikeZ, Autumn Games, Hidden Vairiable, and MightyZug, I hope you all live to regret wasting the companies/series/communites you had.
