D-535/D-537 Logging Equipment

This mod adds five logging-oriented addons to the D-535 and D-537, allowing them to transport medium logs or self-load short logs, as well as load other trucks using a crane or loader.

Loading an attached trailer using the Loader addon is possible, though difficult. Attached trailers are at the limit of the Loader's reach, but it is possible to maneuver logs into the proper positions with a bit of work and skillful crane operation.

Some of the addon and log load positions are slightly offset or clip into a few things on one vehicle or the other. Both vehicles use the same addon sockets, so the positions of these addons (log loads included) must work with either truck without causing any issues. Logs loaded into the Log Carrier with Crane, for example, will be positioned noticeably further to the rear on the D-537 than on the D-535. This is unavoidable, and I've done the best I can to ensure that none of these offsets compromise the usability of the vehicle or its addons.



When packing Medium Logs, the logs will sometimes clip through one of the forks of the medium log cart, leading to an off-center and unstable load. This can be fixed by unpacking the logs, re-straightening the truck, trailer, and log cart forks, and re-packing the load.

Due to their shared MazTrailerCart addon socket, this mod pack also adds a Medium Log Cart to the D-538, E-7310, and E-7429 (as well as any mod trucks that use that socket). However, it cannot be used with these trucks because they lack the proper Log Carrier addons to use them, rendering the trailer essentially useless for these vehicles. I have not yet found a way to prevent the Medium Log Cart from also being available for these trucks, so at this point the only solution is to ignore it.

To repeat, the Medium Log Cart addon for the D-538, E-7310, and E-7429 is unintentional and nonfunctional, but I have so far been unable to remove it from just those vehicles due to their shared addon socket.
