I have a feeling you forsaken the interesting part of the chamber as design fluff, the playing part is overly easy.

very easy to softlock with the decor crates, most half-life players see those and the short wall right by them and thing to make stairs

The turret dialog appeared on the screen, but I never saw or heard any of them. They must have been near the exit.

It's fun moving those really big crates around so easily.
