描述
Preserver Culture
The mod is, currently, in Beta mode and issues are to be expected.

This culture is a pure nature culture which focuses on the natural realm. What they lack in raw melee power, they make up for in ranged damage and somewhat spell damage.

Structures
They gain access to the following buildings:
- Seed of Life, Sprout of Life and Tree of Life is their capital building!
- Eternal Spring - a Tier 1 Mana building giving +food and +mana.
- Eternal Glade - a Tier 2 Mana building giving +food and +mana
- Nature Shrine is a unique building that grants +10 HP, 2 Blight Damage to Magic Attacks, 2 Physical Damage Ranged to Ranged to units build in the domain. Grants +2 Food and +2 Gold for each forest in the domain.
- Garden of Life is a unique special improvement granting a bit of food and access to animals recruitment.

Units
The mod comes with a native 12 units spanning:
- 3 Ranged Infantry (Glade Guard, Deepwood Scout, Waywatcher)
- 2 Spear Infantry (Eternal Guard and Eternal Guard Shielded - although Shielded still use a sword for now)
- 2 Support (Spellsinger and Sisters of Thorn) with unique abilities
- 1 Shielded Infantry (Tree Kin)
- 1 Melee Cavalry (Wild Rider)
- 1 Shock Infantry (Wildwood Ranger
- 1 Scout - melee for one! Bring it along for funsies (Dryad)
- 1 Battle Mage (Branchwraith) with unique abilities

Spells
- Awakening of the Wood - a damage dealing AoE.
- Regrowth - a big heal followed by regeneration
- Unit Enchants: Nature's Ward, Nature's Grace & Nature's Watcher for all non-Life units.

Skills
- Nature's Ward a 10% evasion buff - Melee units
- Nature's Grace a temporary health auto spell that triggers in an area around the caster on spell casts - support units
- Nature's Watcher a +1 Range buff - Ranged Infantry & Battle Mages

i see well at any rate i and i know others would really like to play this mod again. i dont know if the devs have said anything since what you said but i always think its suicidal for a company to not encourage modders cause modders keep games going long after official support stops

That was a comment on their forums. It was worded in a way that made it clear they did not feel like the had the man power or wish to prioritize giving modders tools to allow for more dynamic adding content.
That is also why a lot of things are or at least were super wonky to do and probably still is.. Don't know, many modders gave up after that.

where did the devs say that and whern cause i am in their discord and never once saw them say that however i was also not aware of the game at all when it first launched which is why i asked if you remember when it was said so that i can look and see for myself.

@Loveless1987 Yeah, I'm sorry, but I was a tad gutted when the Developers said they wouldn't support the modding community with functionality.
I would have had to do things that blocked other mods and/or accept terrible implementation and I simply couldn't be arsed to spend days trying to get something simple to work, because the Devs hardcoded.

Not sure if they have changed the approach (I doubt it), but should they, I might pick up modding for this game again :).

Its a shame this mod was abandoned. It had a pretty cool concept. The Guardians of Nature and Protectors of the Forest society trait mods at least add some features.

NOTE - in balance pinned folder the mod developer stressed that the units of this culture are NOT about physical melee damage, rather about magic and ranged physical damage

that may sound like a huge debuff but on the other hand unlike all other cultures preserver culture unlocks FOUR tier 3 units, including my own favorite storm sister support unit

If you update this mod could you add more units or a separate mod similar to expanded cultural units for this mod
