Cadbury 10t steel- bodied van

This wagon is unbraked and will require either a brake van or locomotive attached to it to stop it rolling away if being used in static formations

Cadbury's opened their internal railway system in 1884 to help with transporting materials around their Birmingham-based site. By 1960, the railway had expanded to be over 6 miles in length and used ageing wooden bodied rolling stock. Therefore, in the 60s a fleet of new steel-bodied 'crumb vans' were constructed utilising old 10ft 6in wagon chassis, such as old tank wagons. As such they were unbraked and were restricted to internal use only, although some wagons made it to the company's Chashire site. One wagon remains in preservation at the Severn Valley Railway.

Included in this item is a replica of one of these vehicles, featuring animated doors and crate loads.
As of posting this, the animated doors are slightly bugged in that they don't work on freight services, so if you want them to work you must set the train to run as a passenger service. This is a known bug with the game and will hopefully be fixed shortly.
