Yeah the sub mod probably overloads the restore and colonise mechanic.
But even then, if it's working it should work with MBR unless LoV also overloads the county view window in which case it will be in conflict with MBR.
Ah, I had the legacy of valyria submod map expanision enabled and it must change the colonization mechanic. With the base mod (and the building mod) the colonization and restore ruin options do work. There must be something weird with the map expansion mod, I should have had them all off.
That event, lv_Settlement_Event.0001, doesn't exist in the AGOT mod.
Thank you, the buttons are both present in the UI but they don't seem to trigger properly. (normally an event should pop up if the gold requirement is met). I'm not knowledgeable enough to figure out why from messing around. The event id for both of them in debug is lv_Settlement_Event.0001 if that helps?
I've fixed the missing colonize button.
Not sure if I fixed the missing restore ruin button because I can't find any ruins that button appears for in AGOT without MBR and playing AGOT lags the crap out of my system to be able to play it for any period of time. I don't remember the mod being that laggy when I did used to play it.
However there were some missing elements of the county view that didn't copy across in the last update for some odd reason, so hopefully the missing restore ruin button has been fixed, if not let me know.
Oh I wasn't aware of that because I haven't played AGOT since well before Pirates entered the game.
It just has the vanilla layout so it's highly likely there's a real estate issue, I'll have a look when I get a chance, though I don't even know how to restore ruins but I assume all I have to do is own a province that has ruins to see the button in the county view.
There's almost always a way to make a compatch between two or more mods, some are relatively easy, while some can be quite extensive, you won't know until you start working on them.
To be expected, although moving your mod above LoV solves this issue it messes up holding UI, but it remains functional. So perhaps there is a way to make compatch?
