This is a very easy way of making map icons.

Features
+ Graphical User Interface for easy use
+ generate a list of maps that don't yet have a thumbnail
+ automatically cycle through each map
+ activate screenshot mode for having all important functions available in a single key press


How do I upload the screenshots that I've made to the server?
Your screenshots are saved in your /data/mapicon/../maps/thumb/ folder on default. In order to send them to the server you can either use a FTP Client or the FTP Addon that I'm gonna code in the next few weeks.

How do I add these map thumbnails to the main menu so there's a preview for all maps?
Copy your made screenshots into garrysmod/maps folder and restart your game. Your main menu should have a map.thumbnail for all maps now.

Depends on which ones exactly you wanna overwrite. If it's just for this menu you can do that in the 'Options' Tab by playing them in a specific path, adding this path to the list and removing the others.
If you want them to show during a Mapvote you'll have to add that path to the !mvmenu>Map Preview Hierarchy and place it at the top

If I wanted to use my own custom icons exlusively - or at least make them always overwrite the ones from the central hub - where would I place the screenshots? An is there anything else to configure?
