In comparison to its predecessor the Fido class is slower and more expensive but boosts twice as much firepower, being equipped with a much more powerful main gun and a large armament of torpedos. While heavily armed the Fido class is only lightly armored and lacks any type of active defense systems, making the craft vulnerable to missiles and torpedos. Its torpedo launchers in particular are incredibly vulnerable and are easily taken out by gunfire. Personnel engaging the craft are recommended to target its deck with gunfire in order to neutralize its torpedo armament as well as its engines positioned in the front section of the hull. If possible it is recommended to neutralize the craft using aircraft as it lacks any sort of anti aircraft weapons.
