描述
Got pissed that your inventory was deleted because you contracted a husk infection that is the whole selling point of this mod? Well, us too. Here's a solution. No longer will you lose items when changing into a husk or if your husked corpse grows old.

Overrides Humanhuskdiver, Humanhuskold, Humanhusk and "huskrotting" affliction only. This means that you don't have to download an outdated version of Improved Husks with a bugfix just because in the official version there is a gamebreaking bug. Because this mod only overrides those 3 files I mentioned.

As a bonus you can now also access the inventories of husks who were transformed from a human. This means that you can stun a husk that used to be your friend, dress him up in a silly uniform, put him into a cell and make yourself a very questionable monster girl.

Warning: This is an override which means that THIS mod has to go ABOVE the original Improved Husks mod in the mod list. If the mod order is incorrect no changes will take place.

If you get an error saying that there is a duplicate affliction named "huskrotting" here's what you need to do. Disable improved husks and my fix mod and apply your modpack. Then you add improved husks into your modpack and apply again and finally add my fix on top improved husks and hit apply for the last time. The error may still be shown in the console, but it's harmless and everything works as intended.

Isn't improved husks still being handled by an active person? Usually fix mods are made for mods that have been abandoned so seeing it for a mod that is required for Barotraumatic is confusing.

Before the assumption is made: Yes, I read the description. I have tried so much, but this mod just doesn't work with Improved Husks in multiplayer servers. I tried the workaround, and even tried starting a campaign save without the fix, saving and quitting, and then adding the mod to the list with workaround. Saving and quitting and then checking the save file tells me that "Improved Husks" is not in the save. Even though it was when I first saved it.

Guess we'll just have to drop our stuff when we know we're about to turn husk, until a stable fix can be found.
